Author of the Theory of Justice

I had a hard time deciding what to write about, but in the end I was able to make up my mind. Today I will talk about an author we saw in the political phenomenon study course, I'm talking about John Rawls who was born in Baltimore, June 20th 1921 and died on November 24th 2002. He was an American philosopher, professor of political philosophy at Harvard University and author of the Theory of Justice, a book that caught my attention, this was published in 1971.
The political theory, which he develops in most books, proposes two principles on which to base the notion of justice on the basis of a original position of classical political philosophers.
In Theory of Justice Rawls argues for a mediation the principles of freedom and equality through the idea of justice as equity. To achieve this end its approach to the problem of distributive justice is central.
Rawls tries to demonstrate that the principles of justice cannot be based solely on a person moral structure, also in the way in which a person sense of morale is expressed and preserved in the institutions.
I like because knowing his theory I could see reality from another perspective, which made me reflect a lot on many things.
